|  Re: Moment of Clarity Wow. Thanks, everyone, for the input. As an update, I have decided to press forward with my flying. I'm currently working on a commercial certificate. The way my wife and I see it, our son will witness his dad pursuing a lifelong dream of achieving a career as a pilot and overcoming all the obstacles. I think every child should learn that intestinal fortitude is the way things are accomplished. Hey, thanks again. |

My dad left his successful self-made business after 20 years to go to school to get his A&P. At age 18 I witenessed a very brave thing. He was in his 40s, and embarking on a whole new career. That showed me that you never have to be stuck in a career if you don't want to be. |
