Default Doctor\'s appointment

So Amy and I had a doctor's appointment this evening -- routine.

We heard the baby's heart beat! Nurse said 'he' was happy to be in there -- 160 is what she clocked.

Right before Christmas is our first sonogram (sp?) ... we're (I'm) hoping to see the goods

Good stuff mate, hope all goes well.

Doug, one would suggest marketing jetcareer condoms - but that would solve nothing, the route lies with pilots getting laid - something very rare in aviation. If word gets out that if you are a pilot, and log onto JC you get laid your bandwidth usage is going to go sky high!

Great! Now when horny teens at home on the computer at night google "getting laid" Jetcareers will come up in true hurricane fashion

if your interested in hearing the baby's heartbeat all the time.. go to babybeat.com and get a doppler.. it records the heartbeat and can be rented monthly...my sister really loved it!

I'm seconding the doppler! I rented one w/ Caleb until I could feel movement, then there were 2 times that he stopped moving for a while, had already sent the doppler back, and I freaked out and went to the hospital to make sure he was ok. SO this time around, I bought one off of ebay. I used it constantly until I could feel movement, and since then I've used it maybe 10 times already when this baby stopped moving for a while. Nothing is more reasurring then hearing a strong heart beat at home instead of calling the Dr or going to the hospital every time.

Yes it was ... it's still been kind of hard to believe my wife has a baby growing in there, and hearing that heart beat helped add a level of realism to it.

I can't wait for the sonogram. That's when it will really hit home probably.
