Can anyone give me a round about number for a similar program that would compare to Ariben's VA pro course. I believe the ari's program is around $44,000 excluding VA reimbursment. I am going to visit Ariben November 6th and don't want to feel like that is my only option. I am traveling from Northern Cali so I really cant afford to tour every school. Any help would be great Thank you, Justin P.S. I am private rated with about 100hrs |

Take a look at career pilot school and skymates. Great reputations, either choice is a large step up.

I have looked at both and they are in consideration. Especially Skymates. I have hear nothing but good things from there. VA benifits are kind of a grey area there though. thank you |

I ended up spending about 35k on my training. I took out a 20k loan, and then floated my VA money to pay for the rest of my training (15k to finish my Commercial ME and SE add-on). I got 18k back from the VA, which 15k went back to Falcon for the rest of my training and the other 3k is sitting in my savings account with the exception of about 1500 that was used for my MEI and CFI ratings (completed part 61). Hope that helps a little. |

Surreal, if you dont mind me asking did you go to Falcon with any ratings already? Edit: Nevermind... found the answer in your Falcon Journey thread. Last edited by JVocell; December 8th, 2007 at 18:48. Reason: Duh. |
