Good deal. I think you'll enjoy it. I'm not too sure who Mellissa is really, but I'll try to keep an eye out for you. Or if you notice me (name is Josh) before hand - I have a jetcareers bag tag on my headset bag - just say hello. Monday I'll be up there in the morning flying from 9-11, and then I'll be around during the afternoon for some cfi'ish ground school. |

Whoops, Sorry, just airnaved it. I have a buddy who is moving up there to CFI at Falcon probably in the next few weeks. Have you heard about the sending down a DA42 to VRB to show it off? |

hahaha Yes actually. I know the guy flying it down to VRB. Luke. He told me about it, I think, last Thurs. Said he was going down to try to lure some unsuspecting FSA students/instructors to come work at Falcon. |

16.50 per hour, both breif and flighttime, then it moves to 17 with the MEI, and if you become a DE or whatever it moves slightly up as well. It pretty much maxes out under 20 though. It's not alot, but people work it due to the prospect of Multi time and health benefits. If i recall falcons pay system works with the beginning pay being 12, then after you get II or MEI it goes from 14, 16, then some course to 18, moving up to 22. I am sure I could look it up but thats just my rough guess. Don't hurt me |

No, you're right. As I understand it, and as it was told to me by a member of management. . .$2 raises starting at $12 initially either with an additional CFI rating (II, MEI), and with successful completion of ASF seminars/courses, or by attending an AOPA ASF live presentation / seminar. Maxing @ $22. |

SO you guys need some CFI's up there I take it? I heard that your fleet expanded from like 7 to 20something in the last year. |

Yeah, they need CFI's badly. As far as the expansion in the fleet. . .I'm not too sure. I started here towards the end of May, and I'd say they had close to 20 system wide. May be closer to 30 system wide now, with 20-25 of the planes at FFC. But I think the larger problem is the expansion of the student base, such as the international students. I heard there is a pause in any new arrivals until September - when hopefully they will have more instructors. |

Yea, I ran into that problem. I " slipped through the cracks ". I couldn't even get my instructor to call me back. No worries though. I'm still training, but elsewhere for now. I always read the Falcon post, and I may be back in the near future. BTW, is Texas flyer still training at Falcon ? | |

Yup, he sure is. I see him everyonce in a while. Noticed his bike up at the flight school yesterday evening as I was heading home after a nice late afternoon flight with my wife. I think he is working on his instrument now. He had to take some time to get a BFR done, and get current again on his private certificate. |

just an update on falcon....aircraft are now 35, locations 4 in the atlanta area including cco, ffc, pdk, ahn. they continue to add cfi's and aircraft to keep pace with domestic/intl growth. Rumor is they will be flying 4 of the DA42's into FTY thursday next week to see if anyone from ATP might be looking for CFI work. |
