Default Advertiser/news?

Just wondering how things are going down at Falcon!? Have not really heard much. I noticed a while ago you stopped advertising on this forum. In addition just had not heard of much. What is the current information (general) for Falcon?

Everything is running smoothly...new instructors have been hired recently and we have had a few move on to the airlines.

We have had an update on our prices as of August 8th as mentioned in the following forum

http://jetcareers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=31503

If you would like an updated flyer, please PM me with your e-mail address and I will send it your way.

We are still eagarly awaiting the delivery of the Diamond Twin Star, which is getting closer everyday. We still do not have a definate date from Diamond as to when this will arrive however I can assure you we will post this on JetCareers as soon as more information is available.

We also have added a Cessna Cardinal to our fleet to replace the MTC hog Cessna 182, which will allow Commercial and CFI students to complete there complex training without the expense of the High Performance aircraft.

New stuff happens every week. Come by a visit when you get a chance and we will show you around.

Ok, we got the Cardinal prior to the rate change on August 8th. For the period prior the rate was lower however the current rate for the Cessna 177 Cardinal is

Reg: $153
Block: $150

Program purchases will offer an additional 6% off the block total cost.

Sounds like things are going well for you guys down there..... I know part of the reason for higher prices are the nearly brand new planes but are you guys on a field with a single fuel provideder as well? Just know other places which are have raised prices stickly due to this and did not know if you were in the same situation as well. Looks like things are going great and keep us updated on good Ole Falcon!

Yes, Unfortunatly, we are stuck with a single fuel provider...the city run airport authority (not a private FBO like most airports).

We have attempted to use other local airports that offer cheaper gas however this causes a greater burden on the student/instructor during a typical lesson.

So to answer your post...our aircraft rates (or fuel surcharges) at FFC are directly related to the fuel price we get at the airport authority.

Yup that's what I thought! Just unfortunate it has to be like that with a single provider....

The city has the airport by the prop. Nothing you can do otherwise at KFFC.

The Twin Star should be an awesome addition to the fleet. Curious though. Will there be a substantial increase in training cost for the professional pilot program as newer aircraft, like the Twin Star, arrive?

Good point. The 36-38k is pretty much the good competitive cost, considering Ari, Skymates, etc.

The prices are still unofficial however the rumor has it that the rental rate for the multi will remain the same therefore keeping the cost the same. It is possible that they may lower the rate of the Seminole however if I say that I may speak out of town so...

It is all up for grabs at this point.

I will keep you updated
