Default Falcons Airspace

When I was an instructor at Falcon one of the things that I found to be the most benefitial to facilitating a good learning environment was the airspace that surrounds FFC. Falcon is perfectly located to give every student a great chance to become familiar with the procedures in just about every type of airspace. It is close enough to ATL that you can learn to operate in and out of a major class B, yet not so close as to hinder your learning. It is a short flight from Colombus(Class C), Macon (Class D), Montgomery (Class D) etc... There are multiple different types of airspace all over the place that a good instructor can use to really enhance a students understanding. It is really amazing how many different size airports and airspaces there are all around FFC, and I found it to be one of the best tools that I had for my students.
