This question is for anyone who is or has completed the MBA online program at Embry in Aviation Management. I realize the the topic has nothing to do with flying but I thought I would ask just in case someone knows more about the program. What is the nature of the online MBA - Aviation Management like? Does the school require a GMAT?

Just a thought...I'd search around to see what else is out there...actually, I have been searching around for a while, and Riddle isn't even in the running for an MBA, if I go that route. Your Mileage May Vary. | |

| Junior Member | I just finished up my BS with them in Airport management and if I can recall I think my professor said that there was no GMAT requirement and they have what is called a capstone project instead of a thesis. Yeah and classes are like 1,000 a pop for military and a little more for civilian.

ERAU doesn't have an MBA program. They have a Master's of Management, it's similar but different. Here's a link to their estimated costs. The online Master's program is actually one of the cheaper Master's degrees in the country. http://www.erau.edu/er/financialaid/estcosts.html |

I thought MBAs only came in three flavors -- management, finance, and accounting. Never heard of an "Aviation Management" MBA.

ERAU has a Master's in Science and only requires 36 credits, although all 36 must be taken at riddle. There is a project but it is a 50 page paper which other schools may, or may not, call a thesis. I think the per credit cost is around $330.
