Can anyone tell me if you can fly for a regional soon after graduating from ERAU. Will they give you enough hours? Can you give me an estimate number. Also, can you give me advice on what to do after graduating (if I can) . Should I become a CFI, first officer for regional, etc.THANX! |

as long as you hold a CMEL and are currently breathing, there aren't too many regionals that won't hire you

You don't need ERAU to get into the airlines... in fact, if you do a search on threads that talk about college and degreee's, you'll see that basically everyone recommends getting a non-aviation degree that you can use as your "backup" career. All you need to get into the airlines is total time and PIC time.....going the FBO route will save you a ton more $$ than going to ERAU flying for a regional is going to depend on how well you do the interview... i don't even think ERAU helps you get that interview. |
