Hello, I was just wondering how much is the cost of getting an associate, since all im looking for is something to compliment an non aviation degree in Aero sci and how long will it take, assuming I start it with 36 credits from an aviation school, and also are internship avaiable through the distance learning program? -thanks

As for how long an associates degree would take... it would depend on the core requirements of the degree and what your 36 credit hours consist. Chris, you don't necessarily need to be enrolled with a certain school to acquire internship positions. Research a company and check (through e-mail or phone) to see if they offer internships. It's been some time since i've been on here. | |

CaptainChris87- I've taken a couple of classes through ERAU Distance Learning. They ran me about $550 to $650 a class (sorry i can't remember exactly). I'm active duty Air Force, but i don't think i recieved any kind of discount. The only thing i can tell you is get ready to teach yourself...

Im starting ERAU in Feb. First of; All internships offered to ERAU Daytona apply to all of ERAU's extended campus and distance learning centers. Im looking into a few myself and Ive been talking to a few people at Riddle that are helping me out. Second; The class comes out to $184 p/credit. Do the math and it comes out to about $550 a class. Not bad considering your getting the same degree as a Riddle Daytona student gets for $3000 a class. If you have any questiongs feel free to PM me.

In addition to flying, I'm also interested in the Master's program at ERAU. I see there's the Aeronautical Science as well as MS in Management Programs. The specialization in Aerospace Management and Aerospace Operations appeal to me although job wise, my company will probably pay if I enroll in the Aerospace Education Technology specialization. Any comments on how applicable each specialization is to day to day operations? |
