Last year you could buy a house with that! Now it's only got the purchasing power of an average suburban condominium next to the Wal Mart, so you got that goin' for ya.... ...which is nice. (re: Caddyshack) |

- Total tution for 3 years, room and board ($48,000) - Total Flight ($35,000 - Private thru CFI-I) - Misc ($5000) Total for 4 year degree, including flight ($88,000) In contrast, my sister is going to a private university and it will cost her about $110,000 including living expenses, in an unrelated field (I don't know what her major is even...or if she has one ).I could have done better, but I could've gone to some place that cost a LOT more, not including flight. This was 2000-2003, and included about $14,000 or so in the BE-1900D sim and 737 sim, which if I had majored in Aero Studies, I would've of had to take. Hindsight is 20/20... ~wheelsup | |

Its not worth it. The price of tuition alone is 21,000 and thats been going up 4% every year. Riddle extended campus is only 4,000 a year, big price difference, same name. Go to extended campus and fly wherever you want to.

Ok, im a little confused, how do i know where to find a school with extended campus, also if i did that, is my degree from ERAU or from the school i went to? I'm entering as a freshman next fall semester and that is actually really good, becuase im broke, lol. Do you actually fly or is it only ground school? Sorry im editing this now, i was looking on there web site and now im really confused. Apparently ER has over 100 extended campus centers, are these community colleges? I guess the main confusion is this; ER ext campus is $4,XXX, do i pay for anything else, or is that all inclusive. I would assume the only thing else i need to pay is flight fees, but i need someone who's done the program to confirm. I mihgt put this in the general area so dont get mad, lol
