Here's something I pulled off of ERAU's web site. Lots of info. You should check it out sometime.

[ QUOTE ]
Q: Can Extended Campus students participate in the Cooperative Education/Internship Program?

A: Yes. Extended Campus students have the same opportunity as a residential student. Please contact the Program Manager specific to your degree program in Daytona Beach, your Center Director, and Patricia Cody at 386-226-6908. All students are required to meet program requirements and deadlines. Please contact your Program Manager for more information.

[/ QUOTE ]

Then onto the specific degree track for Aero sci in a PDF....

[ QUOTE ]
Minimum Requirements to Apply: Commercial/Instrument, Junior/Senior status (58+ hrs), GPA 2.5+, Transfer students must complete one full-time semester before applying

[/ QUOTE ]

Well, the AA program is only 60 credits, so I don't see you qualifying for the internship while still in that program. My advice is still to get the history degree from a state school, and stop chasing ERAU b/c of a chance of an internship. It's WAY too much $$$ for too small a chance.

AA or an AS degree is worthless. Spending the extra 2 years to obtain your BA or BS will be worth it. Now if you are looking at earning your degree from Riddle and you are going to be a pilot, then all you have to do is earn your Commercial and you will get around 30 units toward a degree in Aeronuatics. That means you would only need 90 units of classes. Just my 2 cents.

Thank you all for the responses, I see that it costs way too much money for a small chance to actually get the internship, and it needs to be through their BS degree....by the way RPM whose the chick in the avatar??????errr

I saw a Skywest internship recently and was surprised that it didn't call for an aviation degree. Any four year degree was okay and you needed a certain amount of flight experience...think it was a commercial.
