Default Octoberwest?

Anyone have any details on Octoberwest this year?

All I've received so far is an application for some golf tournament that I have zero interest in.

I got a postcard with the dates of both Homecomings in the mail last week. Not much else, I'm wondering if the Thunderbirds will be back in DAB again. I'd go to see that.

yup, we just got that postcard tonight... told us nothing more which is a bit disappointing because they probably paid a lot of $$ for that little postcard and it tells nothing more than the dates...

All I know is that here at Holloman AFB, NM, we have a German Air Force Wing that flies 2 squadrons of Tornados and 1 squadron of F-4s. And come Oktoberwest time, these guys make this place a second version of Germany......they fly in all their own food and beer from Germany.

Should be a good time.

There's a flyer thing sitting on my floor somewhere which probably has ended up getting packed that mentioned something about a golf tournament. Funny thing is that it didn't even set a date, but if it's going on at the same time as the airshow again this year, it'll be October 2nd and 3rd (Sat + Sun). That's all I know...and just because, I'm leaving my personal don't believe a word I say unless it actually happened disclaimer.

I read about that on our events calendar, but no one gives ANY information about it. It makes me want to spend money. I don't know why. It's come kind of compulsion that comes about with the cool name and lack of additional information. Hmmph.

September 30 thru October 2, 2004
Octoberwest and Prescott Air Fair

I got a email which was just a copy of the posters they're hanging around town. Is there going to be a JC crowd there? We might be fighting over the Air Midwest jumpseats if its not planned too carefully

The Prescott Air Fair is actually pretty cool, so I'll definitely be over there this year.
