Default European airlines...

Since most european airlines don't require a "higher level" education except for a high school graduate, I have decided to jump over university/college and just attend a flight school instead. Now I'm stuck with DCA and FSA. Both schools offer JAR AND FAR certificates. Which one is better? I heard many negative aspects towards DCA. Are they really that bad?

I'm also wondering if it's possible to get a degree in something while doing my pilot education... Something to ask the admissions office of the two flight schools I guess...

Why worry about a degree if you don't need one?

DCA or FSA? I don't think you can beat FSA for professionalism and status. Both DCA and FSA will give adaquate training for what you are looking for. You should visit both schools and see which you like better.

I'm not sure how the European airlines work... but in the U.S., most airlines say that you do not need a degree, when in reality, you pretty much do (over 90% of U.S. pilots at the majors have a degree). I'm not telling you to go to university (although I highly recommend it)... I just recommend looking a little deeper into the airlines to make sure that not having a degree does not put you at a disadvantage. Just my opinion though.
