Well, no more brain straining nights of where to do flight training, I have chosen DCA @ BCC. I registered for my classes, set up a personalized schedule, i practically cut off a semester worth of school by having my private ticket. Next step is to attend the Mandatory DCA meeting at BCC on the 19th to meet instructors and other students, background check, fingerprinting and I.D. Badge pictures. Also have to apply for the key loan tonight or tomorrow. Classes begin on the 23rd of August. Maybe i'll start the DCA Journal..

Wecome to the club! Glad to have a fellow journal poster. Especially someone attending a different program such as the BCC campus.

Thanks, I'm gonna make the best of it, It's exciting as hell knowing that i'll be in such a program in about a month from now. Well, so far i have a schedule made up, on Mondays, i have Navigation Science II from 7:00 PM to 9:45. I dont know what Nav.science two actually is, but i'm assuming its IFR charts etc. On Tues. i have Instrument theory, from 7:00 PM to 9:45. Wed. I have Meteorology from 7-9:45 as well. All night classes. I'm assuming they do this so i'm open during the day for flying. The other two "classes" are Instrument flight, and Simulator flight. I dont have a schedule for them yet. All thats left to do is give them my schedule availability for flight time, which will be open everyday, and apply for the key loan, which i will try to begin after i post this.

I would get that flight block ASAP. The good block times will be gone fast. Before you know it you are sitting in the plane at 6:00 AM turning the prop... just in time to enjoy the sun in your face right around 7:45AM, after you are done with the lesson, heading back home... eastbound See you around and good luck! |

Ah...... But there is nothing like flying in South Florida early in the morning. It's the only time of day where the air is calm and cool. Damn i miss it! |
