Post Satellites And Uavs Should Collaborate, Not Compete, Air Force General Says

Collection and transportation of data in the military's future net-centric domain is a job that both space-based satellites and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) can lay claim to - but the two platforms should collaborate for equipment and technology instead of competing for missions, says Lt. Gen. Michael Hamel, commander of the U.S. Air Force Space Command's Space and Missile Systems Center.
