Default Fuel Service Cards

Hey Guys,

We are looking into some fuel service cards for our C550. Just curious what all of you use, and any suggestions?! We will be mainly operating out of the Boston metro/Chicago area.

Thanks
Tim

Multi-Service is what I've always used.

Check out Corporate Aircraft Association - CAA. You can get some really good discounts if you frequent certain airports. We paid for our membership with one trip to TEB.

My company (Frac) uses Colt and UVAir cards whenever possible. The savings really add up. I figured one day that if we saved just one penny per gallon of fuel, the savings across the fleet would be something like $15,000 a year (14 airplanes). I've seen Colt savings well over a dollar a gallon.

Do most places take Colt & UVAir? I never really paid attention. I'm starting a project today about fuel savings for the company.

Colt and UVAIR seem to be the most universal from what I have seen. It is tough because you need to apply to get any quotes.. and I don't want to just throw my bosses name around. Multiservice is defiantly accepted most places, but I am not sure if the savings are as deep.

With Colt and UVAir, you get access to their website to look up fuel prices once you apply. They also provide international flight handling if you plan on leaving the US.

The savings are well worth it.

We mainly use MultiService and Mercury Contract fuel. We used to use UV occasionally. I have been on the pumping and burning ends of Jet A and I have never heard of Colt.

I would recommend you see which cards your FBOs use first and which offers the best incentives.
