| I hear about them all the time. How flexible are their hours and flight times? How do you contract for them? How available are they? |

| I think you are looking for the AOPA mentor program. Try here: http://flighttraining.aopa.org/projectpilot/

| Actually, I know about the AOPA program. What I'm referring are those pilots who, for insurance purposes, are hired to fly with an individual to build time for the owner pilot. I read in the latest Plane & Pilot where in say a King Air 90, the owner needed 100 hours with a right seater for insurance purposes. These types of pilots are short term, so I'm wondering if there's a central location to hire one of these types of pilots, or is it simply "do the best you can." |

That sounds like it would be good idea for a website (if it's not out there already). Not sure what kind of search terms you would need to make it show up on all the search engines. If you find a site, please be sure to post it for the rest of us.
