Does anyone here have any first hand information about Executive Flight Inc. in Wenatchee, WA. I have seen their website and have some general info. about them, but would like any commentary from someone that has interviewed or worked with them. Thanks.

Is that the sound of crickets I hear? I got some info on them myself. I beleive one Challenger 601, some Lear 35s, Commander 690s, and a managed PC-12 that is flown Part 91 and 135. They have a Lear in Seattle and Ketchikan, AK that are air ambulance as well as the Commanders that are based in Wenatchee, WA. The other aircraft are charter. Lear in KEAT can be changed out to ambulance if I remember right. Starting pay is 36K as PIC on first airframe then goes up sloooowly. Six figures after 20 years? Not even close. SIC makes 30K starting out in first type. More types flown= more $$$'s made. Schedule is 21 days on 5 off with one day off somewhere in the middle. Some 30 minute call out and some 2 hour call outs. My guess is that duty time starts when the pager goes off not like a scheduled duty day. That's just a theory though. They are advertising on jsfirm.com for all 3 locations if anyone is still interested.

Their ads on http://www.jsfirm.com say 1500 +ATP for the Commanders and 2000tt, 1500 fixed wing, 500 ME, 250 ME turbine, ATP and local area knowledge for the Lear. They really want a lot of time so they can work you 21 days with 5 off and pay 36k.

A former flight instructor of mine works for them now. Last I knew (a few months ago) he was flying the Commander 690s and SICing on the Lear 35s I think. You're right, that is a lot of work for not much money. I think my old instructor is fairly happy there though. It sounds like you know a lot more of the details than me. Do you have any specific questions? I can e-mail them to my friend if you're serious about applying there soon.

JRH thanks for the offer but I turned them down after seeing their pay and schedule. By the amount of ads they have on jsfirm.com it looks like they really need pilots though.

Turned them down? Did you get an interview or offer? Just curious. I'm looking into applying for them in a year or so. I know their pay isn't the greatest, but I love the area, and if I can get on with them I'd rather do that than a regional. I've also heard that they're looking hard for pilots as well. I've heard they might be willing to go below their published minimums too depending on the experience.
