Default Fractional/Corporate ?

Just wondering what would be a better career move to get into fractional or corporate career. 135 charter flying lear's or regional? I don't have an offer from either yet, but just completed a regional interview and recieved a call last night from a friend that can get me an interview with a 135 charter. The charter flies Lear 60, 55, 31 and 25. The first year is SIC and the second year they pay for a type rating. The pay is much better at the charter company. They treat there employee's very well, but they said they have no set scheduling and the pilots are away from home alot. Also do 135 charter pilot's get any jump seat privi's. Sorry for the long post. Thank's for any advice.

Charter.

Regionals don't pay well. Regionals don't treat you well. Fracs/Corporate fly a lot more Lears than Challengers, I would guess, making your Lear time more valuable. You won't get a type in a year at a regional. Oh, did I mention Charter pays better?

It's a no brainer.

I would go for the Lear job. As said before me, it is better pay and better life. From what I've read on this forum, it seams regionals pay is crappy, benifits are bad, and the life is crappy.

Depends on what you want in the world...I know alot of us Charter/Corp guys that would never go Regional/121 ops since thats not what we want in life. *im one of those*

If it came down between 135/Charter or Fractional...harder to say as it depends on the 135/Charter job and what you are looking for in a job.
