Default Georgia Aviation & Tech College

I'm currently attending GAVTC and will answer any questions I can. It's a great school with beautiful facilities/equipment.

The school website is www.gavtc.org

The flight students go through an 18 month diploma course that gives them CFI single engine, and multiengine commercial ratings or a helicopter CFI. If they stay on as an intern instructor they get CFII and MEI. There is also a Citation and King Air simulator for the multi course. The equipment is all less than three years old and meticulously maintained. The airport is KEZM--Heart of Georgia Regional Airport, in Eastman, Georgia.

The school is also a Part 147 AMT school with a 2 year Airframe and Power Plant Certificate course. I'm already a CFI, CFII, MEI and I did most of my ratings at Aviator in Fort Pierce. I'm here at GAVTC to get an A&P license.

So, it's not a degree program?

No, it is designed so that the credits can be easily transferred to Middle Georgia State College toward either a Bachelor's or Associate's Degree.
