....and I've kinda decided that I'm gonna go to a good college (like BU or Bentley) for a business major (maybe accounting) and then fly on the side. I have seen all the threads about the low wages and complaining and I'd rather not have to deal with that. If I get a good degree and a good paying job, I can fly for fun and be able to live at home. I'm not completely sure, but I would rather live comfortably and fly on the side instead of flying for a living and having a hard time doing it.

I completely agree with you. I'm in the boat now of I have non-flying job offers in aviation, but those don't pay well either. It's a tough economy overall, but aviation is one in the lower leagues for pay. Real Estate and contract sales are down there as well.
