Default Pace interview for the 19th

I was just wondering if anyone wanted to share a room while at the interview?

I am also looking into renting a car so if anyone would like to split this as well. All the better...

Also what is this interview going to be like?

Any Technical info?

I know about the sim ride but more on the Q and A part of it?

Well I am back from the interview and all went well other than that non-rev trip back from the middle of the desert. After an eight hour drive to Las Vegas we finally got on a plane to KMCO. Finally home on the RED EYE. If you do a search on what the interview was like it was 100% down to the amount of questions asked. Very straight forward. Good luck to anyone that interviews. Don't stress over it.

Let us know if you're accepted.

Sure thing, I should know in about two weeks...

The only thing I am a little worried about is the driving record, she told me that because I have not had anything in 2 years I should be fine but she said it wasn't up to her....

Well I will break it down like this so hopefully you won't get into the same predicament...

I only received confirmation of the flight out to Farmington the night before at 8:30 through email. My flight was scheduled to leave for 10 or so... I flew out to PHX and jumped on a plane to Durango no big deal. There were also three others flying into Durango so it made it easy to get the car. The car was $60 bucks for 2 days with the only stipulation that you had to drop the car off again in Durango, however this price is saying someone over the age of 25. The prices were like 100-150 more to drop off in Farmington.

So we got there with no problems, it was about a 1 hour drive. We went to the hotel room and checked in and they were overbooked so I just shared a room with one of the guys I drove down with saved money and also opened up a room for someone else. I would recommend getting a reservation so you are not stuck there with nothing and you don't know anyone...

I had the interview the next day, which was kind of hard because we only had one car for four people but managed to get around. So now we go back to the room and pack for the next day. Our plane was supposed to leave at 9 or so. We get there and she tells us that it doesn't look good. They start boarding and we got bumped. The next plane left at 6 that night but that didn't look good either. So with the wonderful help of the ladies at the ticket agent we looked at all of our options. We could wait around till tomorrow and hopefully get on one of the planes going to PHX but those were also at like 90% so one of us would have been screwed more than likely. We could have driven to PHX but the loads out of PHX were mostly overbooked with a few exceptions. By the way the drive there is about 6 hours. So we would have had to wait till tomorrow anyway, to see if we could possibly get on one of those flights.

After everything was said and done our best option looked like we were going to drive to Las Vegas, which is an 8-hour drive. The plane was scheduled to leave at 11:30 or so that night. It had 10 open seats and it seemed like our best bet to get home by morning. Then if we did happen to get bumped we could get on the flight that left the next morning at 8am for the flight to PHX, which was virtually empty. Then figure out a way out of PHX. So we get to Vegas at about 9 and find out where we bring the car and off to the strip we were there about 30 min before we decided to just go to the airport and check in etc. We got to the airport and we checked in and they told us that there were 10 open seats and 2 standby already so it left us with 8 so we were in good shape. The plane left at 1146pm and we arrived in Orlando at about 7am.

The car we drove from Farmington to Las Vegas cost's us 200 total including fuel and insurance.

Total for Trip:

Food $50 eat before you get to airport

Hotel $50 I paid one night the other guy paid one night

Car 1 $20 we split 4 ways plus gas.

Car 2 $60 we split 3 ways plus gas excluding insurance she would let us pay for that.

Parking Garage in MCO $45 They raped me bad. No signs that I saw the daily price and I had to pay. Tampa is only 7 or 8 a day so that is what I excpected...

Interview with MESA: Priceless (Sorry I just had to do it)

So total of $225 for this trip...

PS: Sorry if this is hard to read or follow, I don't have time to proof read.

Yep, they're good for that. Next time you could try one of the off-airport parking places. They're only about a mile or two up the road, and it's about $7-5 a day.
