I have finally decided to go to University of North Dakota to major in Economics with a minor in professional flight. This way I can have a flying class each semester and not have tons of extra coursework involved with double majoring. |

Oh God, economics. My condolences.

Sounds like a plan. I actually always liked econ, especially labor economics. Do I see a union position for you in the future? The big thing is you took the time to think about it and came up with an educated goal. Congrats for that.

| ![]() If it wasn't for that one long winded professor with a nasally voice.... Sounds like you have a good plan though.

I find it highly ironic that he's going to major in economics and spend money on a minor in professional flying. I wonder if Econo 101 will tell him to "stop that flying crap!" right off.

Lol. My plan is to have the Econ degree to make me useful as a lawyer. Afterall, UND does has its own law school. ![]() Until the industry cleans up, flying will be merely a moonlight job for me. |

| Senior Member | Why can't you??? The great thing about UND's Professional Flight minor is that you get all the way through your commercial multi with making hardly a dent in your semesterly course load. All you really take are the actual flying classes and maybe 1 or 2 "filler" theory courses. IIRC they are Flight physiology and Airport theory

| Junior Member | When I went to their aviation camp, they said they get you flying first semester. Though I'm not sure if it was for the minor as well as the major.

You can start flying when ever you want as long as you are enrolled in the ground school.

Never mind. I'm dating Purdue again this semester. They said that I can probably get in if I get my private before the spring semester. Thank god KLAF has an FBO.
