Default Las Vegas Flight Training...?

Are there any notable programs in the area? I am interested in a private's, but would prefer someplace that had strong commercial/instrument rating training as well, in the event that I do wish to pursue it further.

I know of West Air, ATP, as well as VGT's program, but I've heard little to no personal accounts on how any of them are...

Check out these guys
http://www.pintoaviation.us

They fly out of North Las Vegas (KVGT)

I've heard they have quite a few experienced instructors and good prices.

Also: This probably doesn't belong in collegiate aviation =I

First Flight aka Pinto is a little pricey. Ive met a woman from there at Aviation Nation and talked to her a bit. She seemed a little militant on their standards if you go there. West Air isnt bad, they do have issues with a lot of their aircraft on a regular basis. You may get a lot of cancelations which can be annoying. Then there is Air Excel in Boulder City which I went to an enjoyed. They dont have many aircraft and it is an un controlled airport but I enjoyed my experience there. The price is better there than the ones at VGT. Good luck and take your time, research and ask questions. As far as shady operations go, I have heard all of them at one time or another have had some form of shadyness. I however never ran into any problems.

Is Eagle Aviation still out there at VGT?
