Default South Dakota State University

Has anyone had any experience with any of their aviation programs? From what I know it is a fairly new program to the school. I'm a junior in high school now, but I am currently looking into the school. Any information or experience with the program would be great. Thanks

I'm a CFI there now... what do you need to know!? You are right, we are a fairly new program... well, technically yes. The program has been around for decades, but it had just turned into a major as of '99. And as of last year, Fall of '06, the University owns the entire program now, before we were doing flight training through the FBO and all the classroom on campus. And it also evolved into 3 different majors, Management, Education, and Maintenance. It is a great program, at least I think! I've been here since '05 and have loved every minute of it. Just the fact that it is not big at all, it has that private, one on one training and everyone knows everyone so it feels like a family. And were always in the works of growing, already talking about many new things this summer for the fall . Its a great 141 school, inexpensive, and you get all the ratings and quality of instruction like many other places. If you want details, feel free to ask or PM me, just let me know!
