| Hey everyone, I've been reading these boards along with airliners.net for a while and wanted to finally get in here and ask some questions myself. I know you get asked these day in and day out but I'm doin' it anyway. So which of the 3, UND-ASU-ERAU, would you recommend for me to pursue a career in aviation? Currently, I am attending one of ERAU's extended campuses in Southern California as my original plan was to attend here for 2 years and then transfer to ERAU Daytona Beach with only 2 years remaining. From there I was planning to finish up the ratings beyond PPL and finish with a degree in Aero Science. This was the plan I'd come up with before I'd ever found these boards. Now that I've read about everyones negativity towards ERAU I'm looking at other options. So now I'm also considering UND and ASU. I've heard the stories about Mesa and am not positive if I want to associate my flight training with them. I've yet to really find anything negative about UND except for the "undsucks" website which was found to be overly exaggerated(and of course the COLD!). As far as finances go my family if fairly wealthy. If need be we could pay for 3 years of ERAU outright, although we were still looking at student loans if I were to go there, and then my parents would cover the monthly payment. I would not have any payments of my own out of college. This is another reason UND and ASU have been looking more lucrative. After preparing to pay for ERAU DB, 18k in tuition for ASU and 9k for UND looks dirt cheap. Based on this information what would all of you recommend? Also, everyones thoughts on each school would be appreciated. |

| yeh id prolly say go to und if u got ur heart set on college aviation program. Maybe u shud consider goin to school for a different degree and doing all ur ratings at a separate flight school. I like it better that way. Fuel for thouht, I guess. |
