Default Flight Colleges In California?

My dad is a Vet, so I should qualify for a program where all of my academic fees should be taken care of. It will only apply to the state of California though. So my question is, does anyone know of any good colleges in California that offer flight programs? Also, is anyone familiar with this program offered through the VA? If so, do you know if flight time would be paid for as well? Thanks.

Hey Matt,

You should look into San Jose State. They have an Aviation department and offer a reasonably complete degree for Operations, and Management. They do not have a FLight Program however. But it actually works out better for most people in the long run. Through the school you can become a member of a flight club exclusively for SJSU students. Its an inexpensive way to get flight training and a great way to network. If you would like more info check out these links http://www.engr.sjsu.edu/avtech/ and http://www.geocities.com/flying20@sbcglobal.net
Oh yeah I graduated from the program last year so feel free to PM me with any more questions that you may have. Take it easy.
