I was chatting with a Mesa guy recently. I asked him what he thought of the company, pay, and how he feels he is treated overall. He had nothing good to say and alot of negative things to say. He did admit that he knew going in that he would not be treated like a human being and it was simply a stepping stone to a better company. The question: What is J.O. thinking? It's obvious he doesn't care about the employees and the fact that he is running the company into the ground but...... you would think the shareholders and members of the board would care. I understand they just gave him a 2 year extension on his contract along with a bonus. I asked this guy if he ever hangs out on mesahub.com and he said J.O. just had it shut down by threatening to sue the guy who started it up. ILS

| Wait he doesn't sound happy.......oh it was . But seriously I have read a lot about the company and while it all sounds bad, not yet passing judgment. Forum comments don't mean tooo much to me on this subject, though I would research and think twice and then again about going there.

It's sad that the mere threat of a lawsuit would cause someone to shut down their work. Really sad that someone has such a large ego, such little respect for free speech, and so little respect for himself that he'd consider doing it. But, as we saw with Uslan and as we see with Holly, that's our Johnny. Mesa bites. Plain and simple. But, you cannot deny JO's theory: as long as there are people applying, he's paying the pilots too much and treating them too well. Note about the contract extension for JO: that was a "save face" move by the BOD. I'm betting money that Orny is gone within 6 months. Heck, I'll be he's gone by the end of January. But that's just me. Last edited by Bog; December 16th, 2007 at 04:30. |
