My wife is from Bridgewater and has a few friends that went through the program. That is all I know, but I will ask her to talk to her friends and get back to ya.

Cool Re: bridgewater state college

I graduated from BSC on end of 2004 from aviation management, and I did my flight training in part 61 on my own.

Delta Connection academy is leaving the program(school) this year, and all the students now have to go back to the local flight school for flight training major. (Mansfield, MA or Plymouth, MA)

BSC is very famous teacher school with great education program; and because of that, i believe only 30% of total students are male.....

The professors from avi departments are very experience, most of them are formal pilots for airlines or instructors.

The price to fly in the area is very reasonable, and you get to deal with the real weather all the time;

I know a lots of people finish the degree here all moved on to Charter or Airlines flying.

If you have any questions, you can msg me anytime.

is the delta moving away from the college a bad thing? and does this mean they dont offer the pro pilot program? and do you still get flight trianing through teh school, or is that seperate all together?

Delta is moving because many reasons; primary reason is they didn't have good management and planning. And they are leaving because "financial reason", I guess Delta couldn't make any money from this location.

I remembered attend Delta's seminar back on 2003 and telling all the students how exciting this is, and now it's their failure.

So BSC is going back to the traditional way, work with those local FBOs.

Just my personal opinion, I think Delta moving is a good thing for everybody(expensive, you ll fly less hours and pay more), it won't change the fact if you can get hire by airlines or not.

I believe if you work hard in this industry, you will get what you desert.

I visited bridgewater and took a tour (i'm looking for aviation colleges too). LEt me just say that I couldn't beleive how bad the area is. The most dominant attraction in the area is a prison. All in all I was not impressed.
