I found out recently that credits from in Tulsa are not transferrable to any outside universitys or colleges. Even if you decided to transfer to Oklahoma State or OU, they don't even accept Spartan credits. Just wanted to inform anyone that has interest in that college!

Are you talking about pilot course credits? I had a good friend go to Spartan for his A&P and mostly all of his credits transfered to OSU.

Spartan is accredited by the OBPVS which I believe stands for Oklahoma Board of Private Vocational Studies. It's a local accreditation and not a national one. I think this is why a lot of places won’t take Spartan credits. I do know people who have transferred out and have gotten SOME credit at other universities. There are just not many places that will take their credits. Another problem that people run into is that their Associate Degree is an Associates of Applied Science and means it isn’t worth the paper is written on. The flight instruction for the most part is excellent. The flight classes teach you what you need to know. There Gen Ed classes and their prices for everything are out of his world. To damn expensive. A 152 is running $150, 172 for $180 and 172RG for $200. I think the Seminole is up to $260. A 4 week class (flight class) is around $900. If you don't have a lot of money, STAY AWAY!!!!
