Default Have you ever wanated to prove your flight instuctor wrong?

I am a big guy(6'4" tall). I am currently enrolled in Indiana State University's Pro Pilot program, and am recieving training in a Cessna 152 "Texas Taildragger". I have noticed that I have a greater degree of control flying this aircraft with my shoes off. (I also have more room without shoes) ISU is all about being professional in the cockpit. My instructor, being thouroughly indoctrinated by the university made the comment just the other day that if I could find an Airline captain that flew with his or her shoes off that I could do it as well. If any of you could help me out with this challenge, I would be very greatfull. Anything to wipe the smirk off my instructors face.

I fly charter in PC-12's and I've been known to slip my shoes off from time to time in cruise.
