Default csel passed

oral:

What can you do as a commercial pilot?

What is holding out?

Part 119 and 135 what is the difference

I printed out the A.C. which was a huge help since it could be referenced even though I already new the answer.

Required Doc's on both you and the airplane

AVIATES - required checks explaining if you can go over the 100 hour to ferry an airplane to somewhere to get a 100 hour and what this does for the next 100 hour

Where to get a special flight permit

Hypoxia (O2 requirements) // Teq's for ear problems...mostly just wanted to know that i understood and could demo the valsalva tech

Systems (Engine, Flaps, Gear, Prob, explain Governor in depth)

How did i determine the fuel burn (POH #'s even though he wanted to see me round up a little more talked about how this isn't a brand new engine etc...just wanted to see more of a margin)

Airspace (G mostly)

Weather (mostly scenario based)

That was about that and after my only real trip up being not rounding enough on my fuel burn I thought I did really good for the oral portion.

Practical:

XC w/ a divert to a closed airport

departed with a short / soft combo
kinda going off on a rant but while i was holding short doing my run-up I heard on the radio

Youngstown Tower Vader 23 party of two inbound on the ILS...it was pretty cool seeing a formation of 2 c-130's shooting a practice ILS and it also gave me 2 more min. to think before the ride due to wake avoidance...anywhoo

Slowflight with a stall before it broke
Chandelle with a power-on stall at the top
lazy 8
steep turn
simulated emergency landing steep spiral over a closed airpot
8's on pylons
180 accuracy
and a short field

he said i was 1 of the most prepared students that ever took a comm checkride was pretty happy to hear that....

I also want to thank Andy J. a fellow jcer (xlr99) who picked me up from the beginning: soloed me, helped me pass my private, instrument, and now my csel...thx dude and i didn't kill ya in the process

well off to traverse city to do my multi in a couple dayz hope it goes well if anyone is going for there csel and has any questions feel free to pm me...i probably left a ton of stuff out but thats all i can remember...and sorry for the grammar its almost 3 a.m.

have a good night,

jhugz

"why simulate emergencies when you can have real ones" sry its an inside joke
