Well after one check ride being moved to a later date due to weather, I got off lucky this time. As I flew to the airport where the examiner was, it was clear the whole ride there, just a little bumpy about a 13 knot direct crosswind. after about the 20 minute oral and going over of all the aircraft logbooks, we headed out to the airplane to find out that the winds had kicked up to about 20 knots, just a little bit off of a direct crosswind. First thing we got to doing was our short field take off, short field landing, soft field takeoff and landing, and then finally our power off accuracy 180* landing, after that time we were really getting our as**** kicked by the wind, and the examiner said I think I’ve seen enough, I am going to end this here due to weather and for our safety as well. I also want you to be able to get home before it gets any worse. So I got my commercial asel add-on and got out just before the storm came in. it was a very interesting day
