| Hello everyone! Well my license now says "commercial pilot" on it. For the past few weeks I have been reading others' posts here about their checkrides. I want to say "thanks" to all who have posted here. I would go through questions that other people had, and answer them myself. It proved very helpful today. I met with the examiner at 10:00 a.m. I was finished at 4:00 p.m. the oral was about 2 1/2 hours. The flight was 2.3 hours. I did the my airwork in a 182, and my take offs and landings in an Aztec. My instructor was also my examiner (Althogh the examiner cannot sign an applicant off for a checkride with themself.) So I had to fly with another instructor to get the signoff. It worked out great. I ended up with 10.9 multi! The oral was alot of aircraft questions (Aztec). V speeds, performance figures, "can we make it out of a 2600 foot runway? With full gross weight?) I have to go but I will come back later and write some more about my adventure today.... |
