Default Regional/ Freight

Hi to everyone out there, I been wondering what can of schedule can a regional pilot have during a month or even his/her career? also for a freight pilot.

I would highly recommend reading the articles that are available on the front page of jetcareers.com under "airline flying." There are some great bits of information there that might answer both your questions, as well as add more insight to your quest. Hope that helps!

I'm curious about this. It's obvious the first 3 - 5 years of flying as a Regional Pilot or Freight Dawg is very tough financially.

In my observation, it looks like the Regional Pilot will make more in most cases than the freight pilot over 3 - 5 years (the Regional guy only seems to bring in less the first year, and then tends to bring in the same to substantially more a few years out). This is observed from looking at average upgrade times and yearly total compensations for everyone from AirNet to RamAir and ASA to Pinnacle...

Any thoughts on how accurate this observation is.
