| Hey everyone, Has anyone ever used the AOPA credit line(up to $25,000) to finance their flight training? If so, how are the interest rates and any good or bad experiences with them? Thanks for the comments. |

To be fair, my bad experience was with a credit card. Not a loan! | |

| AOPA is BoA...and yes, I would avoid them like the plague. I had issues with them in the mortgage world. 30% down, excellent credit, 15 years employment in the AF and I was denied...they couldn't verify my employment. WTF, over?!? I am in the process of suing them right now...could be a nice chunk of change for flying!!! ![]()

| I use them--pretty fee heavy so if you can't afford to pay it off immediately I would avoid it--this is not a long term finance solution. I can see people getting killed with it-- I charge to it and pay it off in a month or two to avoid fees and high interest. |
