Default 37 making the plunge with a stupid question

Ok--so I have a stupid question--one that I cant find an answer to on line anywhere--am I too tall/big to be a commercial pilot??--I am 6-5, 230--basically a tall linebacker --at 6-5-do I fit into most cockpits? I am too heavy for some of the smaller "training" planes?...I know these will seem to sound stupid--but I have always wanted to be a pilot and after 15 years in politics I want to leave asap and give this a shot(I cant think of anything better then having the cockpit being my office for the next 25+ years!).
I have a lot of questions but might as well start with the very basic huh.
Thanks!
