Alpine Air/Eagle Jet

I saw a few older postings about these guys. I'm a Commercial, ME and IFR current pilot with about 400 hrs. who wants to change careers. I looked at Alpine and Eagle about getting some turbine time. I saw others comments, but has anyone actually gone to either one of these guys and if so, what were the results? Also, I see that some folks think SIC time is not really going to do me any good. What about going to Eagle Jet for example and paying for a type rating and getting PIC time in a Twin Otter? Any thoughts, suggestions or experience would be appreciated! Thanks!
