I just read your post and will add my opinion. As Calcapt. said this aviation thing is almost an obsession. To make a career of it , it has to be your passion or you will be just as miserable as a lot of the 8 to 5 people out there. My advise to you is the same as everybody else has suggested. Go take some lessons and see if this is really something you want to do. Only you can make that decision. As far as getting to old, No offense to you but i have to kinda laugh at that ,Ya see ,I am almost 50 and thinking about trying to get on with a regional. How CRAZY is that |

I might apply to a few more Fed LE jobs in October. I have to wait until then because that will be my 3-year mark since I made a stupid mistake. Live and learn! | |

If you haven't taken the intro flights, and if you're still on the fence ... I suggest (as many others have) to take 'em! Heck, even if you DON'T wanna be a pro pilot, you've obviously got a little taste for it, so take the intro flight(s) anyways! If you have that yearning, even it's a little one, its very unlikely that you'll regret it. YEW CAN DEEWWW EEEEETTTT!!!!
