|  Flight Schools in the Tyler TX area Hey all, first post here so it's nice to meet all of you and I hope to be able to contribute to the board often. I do have a question in the meantime. I am about to get my CFI renewed should have a rather part time job instructing waiting for me. Problem is my wife very much wants to move down to the Tyler, TX area to be near her family. Are there any flight schools in tyler? If Tyler is a bust can someone recomend some places i can look into on the east side of Dallas...maybe i can convince her to move halfway between Tyler and Dallas. |

| Re: Flight Schools in the Tyler TX area There is a basic FBO in tyler where you can get your PPL and Inst. I don't know if they have a RG or a twin for your Comm or Multi. Further east in longview there is Leterneou (SP?) university which has a good sized flight program. Hope that helps.
