Default Novice Questions

These might seem really stupid but I cant find an answer anywhere.

If your an Instructor and your flying with your student does that still count for hours in your logbook?

and

How does one build Pilot in Command time?

Yes. Whether you're flying with a student pilot or an ATP, if you are giving dual instruction, then you can and should log all of that time is PIC. And to answer your question about building PIC time? Simple...Take out an 90 thousand dollar loan and buy it. duh!

Yes

First, you solo, then all solo time is PIC time. As you learn to solo, you will learn more about when you can log PIC time after you have obtained your Private Pilot Certificate. Just get solo'ed for now.

See FAR 61.51...

It'll tell you all you need to know, then confuse the crap out of you.

But yes, and authorized instructor can log PIC time for all instruction given.

According to his profile, he's a CFI, not a student pilot.
