|  Joining the Ranks - CFI Initial Passed! I passed my CFI initial checkride last Thursday in Ft. Lauderdale with Mr. Pinkston! It was the greatest feeling after he said his standard response of, "Your flight was satisfactory." After a giant sigh of relief, I was grinning from ear to ear while tieing the airplane back down. |

| Re: Joining the Ranks - CFI Initial Passed! If you take your CFII ride with Mr. Pinkston, expect him to ask specifics about the ILS. An example would be the paired frequencies for the localizer and glide slope and where to find them (AIM). Supposedly he failed someone on that question, but I don't think that was the only question the guy missed that failed his ride. Oh, and congrats!

After studying for the last several months non stop I was in a habit! Congrats, now go and do some teaching!
