| I passed my CFI initial checkride last Thursday in Ft. Lauderdale with Mr. Pinkston! It was the greatest feeling after he said his standard response of, "Your flight was satisfactory." After a giant sigh of relief, I was grinning from ear to ear while tieing the airplane back down. |

| If you take your CFII ride with Mr. Pinkston, expect him to ask specifics about the ILS. An example would be the paired frequencies for the localizer and glide slope and where to find them (AIM). Supposedly he failed someone on that question, but I don't think that was the only question the guy missed that failed his ride. Oh, and congrats!

| Congrats go to you. Quote:
I had the same issue. I was studying so much, I got used to the books lying around the house. When I was finished and put the books back on the shelves, my living room suddenly looked a bit more empty. Cleaner, for sure. But still a bit empty.

| Tell Eric over there (he's the one that also flies a King Air charter op) that I'm dropping his fuel strainer in the mail to him. He loaned it to me the day I took my PPL checkride. Someone had wandered off with the one from the 152 I used. Good luck!
