Kings school CFI checkride

I was looking around King school for some CFI videos. I didn't want to pay $565 dollars for all of there videos, but saw a checkride video for $100. I was wondering if any of you seen it? It says that if you don't pass on your first try, you get your money back and keep the video. So what do you guys think?

I think you should spend that money on books needed for the knowledge thats necessary to be a professional CFI or for an hour in an airplane polishing up on some airwork. Video's are gimmicks that prey on peoples insecurities. Study hard, talk to CFI's and learn from their mistakes, read all the handbooks you've got and know your airplane in and out. Make sure you have a CFI PTS as thats a good starting point.

while the king videos are informative, imho nothing replaces doing the work yourself to retain the info

Okay thanks, I was just currious. To answer your question I've already taken my FOI and FIA test and recieved all my books. Kings schools say that a FAA teaches that checkride, so maybe he will help me pass the checkride on my first try.

I don't know if they have that particular King movie, but chances are they probably do. I've rented movies from them throughout my training and they are totally legit!!

would love to give 'john and martha' bfr's..bet it would be a riot. met them here in little rock,actually, back in the mid-90's when i was flying lears based in detroit..just happened to be making a fuel stop at the same fbo. they were in their citation. martha seemed b!tchy..but john? just like his videos..walk up to him and he goes into 'taping mode'..lol. he gave me autograph like he gives everyone, urging me to 'stay out of the trees!' good advice, john....
