Anyone have a good way to make sure everything is done in training for CFI? I'm going through the PTS, as well as teaching some ground lessons for a number of students my CFI has. There will be some topics that can't be taught for practice, mostly under the commercial knowledge areas. Other than that, came up with a big ol' long checklist for the knowledge stuff per the FARs, and most of that will be covered by going through the PTS front to back. First few sections being the ever so exciting FOI stuff. Josh |

Get the Gleim Flight Training Series book for CFI (Not to be confused with the written test prep). It has EVERYTHING in there. It goes through the entire PTS, every maneuver, etc... The majority of your brief content can be take directly from there as well.
