Where's the best place to have them made, or is it best to buy blanks from office depot and print your own?

| Looking somewhat cheap initially, then in a few months when I hopefully have the money to get my MEI, I'll put down some bucks for some nice ones.

vistaprint.com. Can get em for free, but depends how long you want to wait. They have great deals on the design-your-own section with expedited shipping. Mine had a great stock shot of some cessnas in the sunset (from their photo selection). You can edit them as necessary. Good luck. |

Printing your own cards looks very cheesy, IMO. The paper is flimsy and the print quality is poor. Ian's source will give you 100 for $30, which is pretty expensive per card, but it's only the price of an hour of ground. It'd probably take you a while to hand out 100 cards. But I wouldn't leave them in stacks on someone's countertop.

The flight school that I work for paid for mine. Gave me a box of 500 a week after I started. They have come in really handy for getting new students.

I second vistaprint.com It took them 5 days to ship to me, my wife had some made, and it took it 7 days. So really, it's not that long of a wait. |

I used www.printsmadeeasy.com - I had 300 made up with full color glossy for ~40. A bit expensive, but I wanted something that would stand out a bit.

medium - office depot or staples 100/500/1000 box is about $15/25/70 if I remember right expensive - custom printer, 4 color, 2 sided print about $150 for 500 (they looked real nice though) I worked my way down bass ackwards, went expensive to cheap. Cheap is the way to go. | |
