I was wondering if anyone had any place they had found that provided good aircraft models for demonstrating CFI maneuvers to students and for my checkride? I can't seem to find any good ones at Wal-Mart or to purchase online. Thanks

I went to Toys-R-Us and just got some toy aircraft. It was a fighter jet of some sort, but it did the trick!!

If you're willing to do 3-4 days' work, you can still buy the balsa-and-tissue rubber band ones from Guillow: Balsa Wood Airplanes - Toy Airplanes - Paul K Guillow Inc They are cool because they are a good size and you can actually get a Cherokee or Cessna 150. Sporty's has the little die-cast models. I think they also sell a battery-powered "toy" plane that is supposed to be specifically for teaching.
