Default Student called racial slur on first solo

WTF?! I soloed a student the other day and here is what happened. He taxied back for his second takeoff and held behind the hold short lines at a 45 degree angle, performing his pre-t/o check like he was supposed to. Some guy in a Bonanza comes barreling down the taxiway, says "Cessna, you are blocking the taxiway, I'm coming around on your right", and proceeds to cut in front of him, barely missing my students strut and the dirt to the the Bonanza's right.

On the takeoff roll the Bonanza guy says something on the radio to the effect that "...he [my student] looks like a raghead and probably didn't understand anyway." I did key my handheld and say "Actually, he is a student on his first solo doing his pre-t/o check and you just cut him off." Of course I wanted to say something about his Texas accent but there were too many other Texans on frequency . What a moron.

What's funny is that my student is Puerto Rican and speaks perfect english.

Copy his N Number and called to FSDO for violation of 91.13 for Careless and reckless flying or operation of aircraft. It happened right before control tower open. A kingair C90 or 100 called out a 3 miles straight in final on CTAF. A Cherokee 6 decided to pull up to runway and takeoff while Kingair on 1 mile short final. Kingair executed an missed approach. Tower controllers, pilot of Kingair and a line guy at FBO copied down N number. When pilot of Cherokee returned, local FSDO was waiting and had a good long conversation.

Well you know what they say, when you can smell the cow s**t you're in Oklahoma, and when you step in it you're in Texas.

YO! i am from Texas. We are not all a bunch of nitwits. I have seen plenty of dumb stuff in all parts of the country.
I abhor any type of activity that is unsafe. Don't become complacent. be proactive with safety, yours and y'alls students. Glad to hear you stood up for your student.

Anyone that wears jeans and a texas A&M starter jacket while falling down a snow packed mountain with skis on their feet deserves to be made fun of

I heard a guy on my last lesson saying that a Piper took an 800 feet dive under him because thats what it showed on his "Garmin". The guy in the Piper said no we were under you the whole time. The Mr. "GARMIN" reported him to Potamic approach. what a tool, there will always be those flying #########s who think theyre the best pilots in the world.

Ah, the pleasures of discourtesy. Guess he never was a student pilot on his first solo...

It's ridiculous to hear people calling out racists, and then making fun of Texans as a group of prejudice idiots.
