| If I go for the CFI/CFII/MEI/Ground Instructor, what "written" exams does one take and what books are needed to study for them? |

| I recommend the Gleim Test prep CD. They have specific courses for CFI and FOI. For the II, the questions are the same as for the instrument ticket and there is no written for MEI. |
