Default Dude, finally got a job!!

Nobody get excited, but I landed ny first CFI job after a 2 week search.

Went through the ALLATP program, but took 1 1/2 years to complete the 90 day program ( family issues).

Hooked up with Marcair aviation near Dallas. Great program and the Chief pilot cuurently flies for Southwest and was the Chief pilot for Sprint last year flying a Global Express.

He has a Cessna 310 that his son flies and I was invited to bulid multi time whenever (provided I split costs).

Boy, am I stoked! Start Monday.

Welcome to the world of poverty. I love it!

Congrats! Still not sure where I'm gonna finally wind up after I'm done with instructor ratings. I have a couple of places I WANT to instruct, it's just a matter of getting the money to move there and getting hired. Which airport in Dallas?

Kell, its northwest reginal across the street from Texas Motor Speedway, north of Ft. Worth.

Flew out of Skymayes on Monday, know a few CFI's there (Stuart, Ryan etc.).

Hope to see you out there (I still have money in my account)>

52F northwest regional has been around for a long time.
It's uncontrolled but very busy. Two schools, lots of maintenace facilities and a couple of charter operations.

Convienant to Denton, Alliance, Meacham and under class B.

The one thing that seems odd is quite a few accidents there in the last few years. Nothing fatal thank god!

Thanks,

I was supposed to go on a checkout flight with Henleys when the Marcair interview came up. Never heard back from Henleys. Probably a good thing!

I am thrilled with to be at Marcair, first flight on Thursday and have my first student coming on board next week.

They also asked me to fly to Missouri and back on June 12th with a student who wants to go on a looonnngg X- country.
