Default Keeping records of 61/141 students

What method do you use to keep track and records of 61/141 students?
I know Jepp has a folder for 141, but what do you all use for 61 students? Just a spreadsheet for each student?

Personally, I just use a manilla folder and put all the ground and flight lessons in it. I keep a copy of their medical and a copy of their 8710 when they pass or fail in the folder.

Each flight I have has a sheet of paper preprinted, with notes for the flight. I keep that in a folder. It looks like a large binder size, with a zipper closure. Holds about 15 different file folder size things, and has a dozen or so other pockets. Got at OfficeMax for like $10. Works pretty good, and I can always see the last thing done. I also keep next lesson in there. Pull the one for the day, and next one out for each student, to remind me what we will do next time, and make any notes on that sheet if the current lesson wasn't finished. Has ground and flight outline, and folds to fit on a clipboard.

This all kinda works well, but the folder thing is getting quite heavy now. Moving stuff out as it is old, and just keeping the last, current, and next, is how I plan on cleaning it up a little.

I just used my logbook. I would mark each student that ended up taking a checkride or soloing. That logbook is now in the safety deposit and never coming out again until the next interview
